Matt is an adaptable, diverse composer capable of creating any style of music a client needs, from electronic to jazz music.
Matt formally started to study music composition while at the New England Conservatory Prep. School. His teacher would give him an assignment each week to compose a certain style of music. This helped Matt critically analyze different compositional trends in music and duplicate them in a way to represent that musical genre. Matt also created an experimental band that performed various types of music ranging from Dub to Drum & Bass. This developed Matt's skill to compose in a communal setting as well as an individual composer.
While at U.S.C, Matt enrolled in several music composition and arranging courses which allowed him to accurately write scores for large ensembles, big bands, orchestras, and other formats. Matt currently composes for film (Bad Asses II, Pauly Shore Stands Alone, Threebody Trilogy, etc), T.V and commercial jingles (Toyota, Sealy, etc) for clients in the Los Angeles area.
